St. Bart's update

Tuesday  brought us another beautiful day.  We lounged around during the morning.  I had Salmon Quiche again for breakfast and cheese and crackers for a snack.  The four of us then spent the morning walking up and down downtown Gustave.  We went into LouLous which is nice little gift shop.  I bought a hat which you will see in many a photo.  I felt quite glamorous seeing as everyone who is anyone on this island wears a chic hat.

Many pictures were taken of us in front of gigantic yachts.  We saw a Swedish sailboat that is run by the Swedish Navy for training sailors on the sea.  They were in St. Bart's to deliver some historical canons.  Wow.

For lunch, we went to LeSelect.  Jimmy Buffet wrote the song "Cheeseburger in Paradise" while sitting at LeSelect right here in St. Barts.  Apparently, Marius, the man who owns it, is Jimmy's best friend.  Marius was actually there and we got our photo with him! In the 5 times before when Kathy has been here, Marius has NEVER been at LeSelect.  How cool is that!  The cheeseburgers and fries were amazing and definitely lived up to our perceived standard.

Before we had grilled steaks, salad and asparagus, Frank, Raymond and I took naps.  Raymond and Frank on the couches and I in the hammock.  I slept so hard that I didn't dream and barely moved.

This morning, we woke up to a beautiful view....of course.  We took pictures of a rainstorm that we literally watched travel from the mountains out to sea.  It was pretty dang cool.

I'll write more tomorrow about today.

Love to all!
