Wow...what a week!

What a crazy week!

On Tuesday night, Cowboy got out. I picket on our fence had fallen and we did not realize it. I went to bed early and so Frank thought Cowboy was with me and vis-a-versa.

Needless to say that at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, when Emily woke us up for a bottle, we discovered he was gone. Frank went out and searched and searched and searched.

We were panicking by the time Wednesday evening came around and Cowboy was nowhere to be found. I stayed home from choir while Frank searched again.

Thursday, we called the animal shelter/animal control section of Granbury. I know they thought we were just nuts but it paid off. At 2:00 p.m., I received a text message from Frank that Cowboy had been found alive and well.

Apparently, about 2 hours after he got out, a young lady found him at Montana's Restaurant. By the way the crow flies, Montana's is probably about 3 miles from our house. This sweet girl took him home and it took them a while to report it to animal control. They misread the phone number on Cowboy's tag so it took some time to make the connection.

Cowboy is now home safe and we are so happy!!!
