Last 2 weeks....

OK, so here is latest...


Last week was pretty standard. I felt like by the time we turned around it was the weekend. Now that was fun! We were all at Kathy's. We had a birthday party for Dad on Saturday night and a Super Bowl party on Sunday. The theme for the Super Bowl party was Mardi Gras. By the end of the game almost all of the food was gone. Crazy!


On Monday, I took Katherine to an ENT to evaluate her ears and throat. It took Dr. Palmer about 30 seconds to look at her and determine she needed tubes put in and her adnoids taken out. He said that because of her adnoids, Katherine doesn't sleep well and that is also the reason she snores and is tired all of the time. Because of all the fluid, she can't hear very well. Long story made short.....February 25 is her surgery. We are, of course, nervous but glad because Dr. Palmer said she will be a completely different kid after this! Katherine is such a happy, go lucky kid now that I am excited about it getting even better and her feeling better on a more consistent basis!
