Friday afternoon, Katherine was wisked away in a jeep with Pam Frye. Pam chicken just had some babies so Katherine went for a playdate and slumber party.
So last night, Frank and I decided to go to Tumbleweeds BBQ and Steakhouse. We actually do not have a good steak place in Granbury. Tumbleweeds is in Cresson, a town of about 1000 people. It's only 10 minutes from us though so no biggie to do the drive.
The parking lot was full but we didn't have to wait for seating. We both ordered the filet, a baked potato and a green salad. I topped my meal off with banana pudding. Oh so yummy! Everything was great, with exception of where are table was located. We were directly next to the kitchen door. The staff goes in and out that one door....it was slightly distracting.
Today, we have tried to rest as much as possible. It is COLD and windy outside. A good lunch at Mi Familia to cut the chill in the air helped. Now we are just resting until Katherine gets home.
