Dolphin Swim School

Katherine is enrolled in Baby Dolphin Swim classes for the next 2 weeks. It is a Mommy and Me class so I get to go with her. Today was the first class. We get to take classes Monday - Thursday until June 21. June 21 is her graduation. Isn't that cool?

At first, Katherine had a hard time because before today, swimming was all about playing. She isn't used to structured games in the water. But I know that tomorrow she will do super great because she will know what to expect.

There are 7 other kids in the class with Katherine each accompanied by an adult. They range from 4 months to 22 months. (Katherine is the oldest). Today was the basics. We learned to kick, hum (so we can hold our breath under water), jump off the side and sing lots of fun songs. I had fun sharing it with her!

She also gets to go straight to Grandma Kathy's after class. Ms. Betty is keeping her while I head out to work at Kathy's law firm. Katherine was so excited to see Ms. Betty that she ran and jumped in her arms. It was very sweet.

I can't wait for tomorrow!
