Vegas, part 1

I'll hit the main points of Vegas....

We met Gina and Jeff on Thursday night. We headed to the Bellagio, which is BEAUTIFUL! They had handmade glass flowers adorning the lobby, a floor to ceiling Christmas tree surrounded by hundreds of poinsettas, life size polar bears made out of carnations... pretty awesome.

On Friday night, after Gina and I got ready, we met the boys in the lobby. They were looking pretty handsome. After taking photos and exhanging presents, we headed out to the limo. Now, I do need to elaborate on the presents part. Frank and I weren't supposed to give each other presents. Having said that, we did anyway. I gave him a gold chain necklace and he gave me an emerald and diamond bracelet. The MOST AMAZING bracelet ever.

So....back to the story. We headed out to the limo and headed off to the Helicopter Pad. First, they weigh you. Um, fun. Then they give you champagne. That was cool. After meeting with minister Jim, watching a "how not to lose your life on a helicopter" video they put us on the van that took us to the helicopter. We didn't have to wait long to get on the helicopter.

It was a wonderful experience. We renewed our vows and got to see the Vegas strip from the air. Pretty awesome.

After we landed and took pictures, we headed over to the Hard Rock Casino to eat at AJ's Steakhouse. I had the lobster bisque, a steak the size of my head, garlic mashed potatoes. Frank and Jeff had basically the same. Gina had the crab legs. It was all scrumptious. The staff brought out a wedding cake for us and we continued onto our 2nd bottle of champagne for the night.

We ended the whole evening by watching the fountains in front of the Bellagio.

It was a perfect day.
