Last week, first week of May, our office found out that we could actually start submitting Advising Worksheets to students. With 50 students arriving on Saturday to register, we had our work cut out for us. Advising worksheets are evaluations of a student's transcripts that we input into a degree plan type thing. So on Monday, we prepared for the arrival of all of this work. On Monday night, I worked late at a program for the university. Pretty boring so far.

By the way, pray for David, Darla, Tyler, Taylor and Christopher.
OK, so Thursday and Friday, we worked and worked and worked. I had advising worksheets coming out my ears! By Saturday afternoon, we had registered about 40 students. It was awesome. Even though I had several students with some major ATTITUDE. I thought I was going to have to drop kick one of them. She was testing my good Christian intentions!
So, after that I headed over to the Fitzgerald household for the twins birthday party. We got see lots of friends and Grandma Kathy! It was fun. Happy Birthday Abigal and Gavin! They had BBQ and a bouncy thing for the kids. They also had beer and wine. I could not WAIT to have a glass of wine! I did manage to refrain from draining the entire glass all at once. BBQ was good, Katherine fell asleep in Frank's arms, twins looked cute eating cake, we went home.
Next day we went to church, then went to Kathy's for dinner. It was fun but not over the top dramatic. That is the way I like Sunday.
OK, so up to this week. I spent most of my day Monday recovering from the week before answering emails and returning phone calls and such. Nobody cares about that. I don't even care about that. Tuesday and Wednesday are the more important days of this week....
Tuesday, Katherine began pulling herself up to stand. She used the couch and Darla said she is really just trying to get into to trouble. That's my girl!
By the way, through all this, Frank was fantastic. He is a great husband. I'm lucky he didn't just give up on me completely. I was a little "on edge"....
The next entry is all about Wednesday and Michael.
