Rehearsal and wedding

So the rehearsal was just that....a rehearsal.  It went smoothly.

The dinner was really cool.  It was at Bethany's office, ITology.  They had a BBQ and beverages.  Plus a very cute video about how they met.

The next day was a whirlwind of activity of hair, makeup, dresses and mimosas.

Once we finally got to the church and ceremony I felt a bit more relaxed.  The girls walked down the aisle beautifully.  Emily stood at the front for about 6 seconds and then came to sat with us.  She then laid on Frank's lap and promptly went to sleep.  I actually carried her back down the aisle when the ceremony was over.

The ceremony itself was lovely.  It was so sweet.  Mom sang and Dad played his horn.  Grandmother Dreier walked down the aisle.  It was only when she sat down that I realized I was holding my breath!  Bethany and Chris looked so very, very happy through the whole thing.

We partied hard at the reception....and by "we" I mean Emily and Katherine as well!  They literally danced almost the entire time.  Plus Emily was in love with Cocky the Gamecock from University of South Carolina. Cocky introduced Bethany and Chris into the reception.  Emily thought he was the funniest thing she had ever seen.  Katherine, my level headed genius, just looked at Cocky and Emily, shook her head and laughed.

After that we headed and by "we", this time I meant just me and Frank to SakiTumi. Sushi .Bar (And yes, Frank and I spent the week yelling at random "Sock it To me!"...so ridiculous....but it still made me laugh)  The party was just wedding guests and the happy couple.  Frank and I stayed til 1:00 a.m. and then made our way back to the hotel afterwards.

The whole thing was so fun.  We got to see so much family and spend quality time with Katherine and Emily.
Sunday was spent resting and swimming.  The only time Emily got upset was Sunday night.  And she was 100% exhausted.  She was crying incoherently in the hotel room.  So Frank suggested she get into bed and he would scratch her back.  Before Frank could walk to 2 feet to get to her, Emily was snoring.  Not metaphorically snoring....out loud snoring.  That was at 7:00 p.m.  She slept the next day until 8:30 as did Katherine.

Monday was airplane and taxis.  But you know what....all worth it.

It was a super fun vacation!
