Day one of Weddingpalooza!

Oh it has been the wedding of the decade!!

My cousin, Bethany, got married this weekend. Frank, the girls and I got to a hotel on Wednesday night to be closer to the airport. It was a very nice hotel.  They were so accommodating. The bellboy or  bellman even helped us getting our luggage up getting my car parked in the lot and bringing my cell phone. We ordered room service and waited for Frank to get there. Then we took them down to the pool and swam for a while. I am surprised we didn't get in trouble because Emily, Katherine and I were playing on the elevators because they were glass elevators and it was fun to just go up and down. By the next morning, we were headed to the airport on the 6:30 AM shuttle. Talk about tired.  But we made it and got on the flight. The girls really liked the taking off and just looking out the window. Emily fell asleep for the last 45 minutes of the flight. We were greeted by two lovely women when got off the flight. They welcomed us to South Carolina and gave us warm chocolate chip cookies. (Michael surely had a hand in that).

Once we arrived at the hotel, chauffeured by Daddy, we had an easy check in. We ate cheeseburgers at Five Guys. That was super duper yummy. Afterwards, we hung out in the room for awhile.

Then the whirlwind began. Aunt Sue, mom, dad, and UncleMike arrived. We unloaded stuff from the cars to bring up to Sue and Mike's room  A lot of it was gifts for the wedding.

Once that was done, we were able to relax and spend time at the pool. Then we bathed and fed the children. Then Frank and I got to go out with Bethany and Chris and their friends to a bar a block away. We ate had some adult beverages and really got to relax.

This was just day one. The next day was when the real fun began.
