My Bilingual Children

OK, so Dora and Diego have a positive effect on my children...

In hotel last week, Katherine and Emily were playing a game.  They ran around yelling, "Help me! Ayudame, ayudame!"

In the store on Saturday, both went down the juice aisle saying, "Saunta, saunta, jump, jump!" And of course, simontanously jumping

Yesterday, Emily says to me, "Come on, Mommy, let's go! Vamanos!"

Today, I said to Emily, "Let's go in to the living room." She didn't want to..... so I said, "Vamanos! Vamanos!" I'll be danged if she didn't run right into the living room!


Ayudame = Help me
Sautna = jump
Vamanos = We go or Let's go.

¡vamos a celebrarlo!
