Frank and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary last weekend. (It's not until Dec 15). For our anniversary and Christmas present to each other, we went to the Big 12 Championship game. Texas vs. Nebraska. What a game!
Our weekend started like this. On Friday, the girls and I went to Mexia for the Mexia "Mistletoe and Magic" Craft Fair. This is were we have our family booth to raise money for Michael's Scholarship. Saturday was Pancakes with Santa (Katherine actually acknowledged Santa!), Craft fair, transporting children to Dallas, and then getting myself to Dallas later. Busy!
By 4:45, Frank and I were headed to the tailgate party in Lot 10. This is important because we were in Lot 14. You would think it was close but no.....half way around the stadium in 27 degree weather is NOT close. Oh well....a little holiday "spirits" kept us warm.
The game itself was AWESOME! We were on the 4th level (nosebleed) section. I think I saw Jesus up there at one point we were so high up. Needless to say, at the end of the game when the Longhorns won, we were high fiving....hugging each other......hugging strangers. It really was fun!
Happy Anniversary, Frank. We've been married 8 years and known each other for 10. I wouldn't trade our amazing journey for all the money in the world. You inspire me, love me and make me want to achieve more and more every day.
