It has been a couple of weeks since I've updated....I think this usually happens around this time of year. With our busy lives and schedules, some things are neglected.
I went to Katherine's classroom to read aloud for Dr. Suess Day. Here is the conversation...
Me: Katherine, I am coming to read aloud to your class on Tuesday.
Katherine: Loud? Your not going to scream or anything, right?
Me: No...Katherine, read aloud means I am reading aloud to your class like your teacher does
Katherine: OK, just read medium loud....don't scream
(5 minutes go by of me trying to explain what read aloud actually means)
Katherine: Well, as long as you don't scream.
Me: *sigh* OK, I won't read too loud or scream.
