I am so glad to write that I was completely wrong about Katherine! I was positive she had strep but after 3 days of rest, she is fever free and almost free of her other symptoms. I had an extensive talk with her pedictrician this morning and he said it sounded like she had the flu. It usually lasts 3 or so days. Thank goodness for 2 snow days, she was able to rest and get well. If she had strep throat or a throat infection she would have gotten worse, not better.
So basically Katherine had a flu that we kind of breezed through!
