Katherine woke up Monday morning with 101.1 fever. (Luckily, Dr. King gave Frank Monday off) Frank took her to the doctor and he did a strep test and flu check. Nothing....just a cold.
Mom and Dad came immediately to stay with her because the doc said no school til Wednesday. Frank and I are sort of out of days with work sick time.
Because her fever was not getting better, Mom and Dad took Katherine to Mexia. By last night, Katherine's temp was 102.

Yep, my sweet girl has strep and was on the brink of pneumonia. No school for her til Monday and some super duper antibiotic.
So far in January, I have only kept one child at a time because of illness. I am hoping we are using up all of our bad luck in January and the other 11 months will be worry and crisis free....I hope....oh do I hope.
By the way, in case you haven't felt your heart strings tugged yet for my girls. Katherine, before she went to Mexia said, "Mommy....pray for me that I feel better." *tug,tug*
