We took Emily to her follow up doctor's appointment yesterday. He said she looked and sounded good! He also said that she would still need a lot of rest and TLC.
As hard as it was, I let Mom and Dad take her to Mexia for the rest of the week. She will get all of the healing she needs with Mimi and Papa! I only gave a few instructions for Mom and Dad...OK, maybe more than a few.Plus it will allow Frank and I to spend some one-on-one time with Katherine. Katherine has adjusted fairly well and only acted out a little. Not too bad, I think. It was a tough on her!!

Hi there,
All OK here. Emily sort of took a nap this afternoon. Ate some chicken and okra from Krispy Chicken. and 2 french fries. She is doing fine and will hit the sack early tonight. She is a bit tired now from the short nap so will go to bed early. Here's some photos for you.
