Vacation - Day 1

Frank and I are on a unique trip!  We are in Galveston at Kathy's beachhouse to celebrate our anniversary.  I realize our anniversary isn't until December but this was the best time for us.  9 years in December! Yea us!

The unique part is that we left Katherine and Emily with Kathy for 4 days.  I've never actually been away from the girls this long.  The other unique part is that Frank and I haven't gone on a trip, just the two of us, since we went to Vegas for our 5th anniversary. 

We are so excited to be here and blessed to have wonderful family that is willing to make this happen.

Our trip started at 7:15 this morning (can you say anxious to get here?)  Our trip was rather uneventful on the way down which is nice.  We made one stop at Bucees Gas Stop.  This place is a the size of a small grocery store.  But they have super nice bathrooms and interesting things to look at.  It is a nice way to strectch your legs.  We actually made it to Galveston by noon and Benno's by 12:45. 

We are now settled at the house and have a drink in our hand.  (hey...it's vacation....don't judge).
