Naps and Firefighters.

Yup....it is 12:30 and Katherine has finally gone to sleep. Now before you judge me....just know she had a really long afternoon nap. She fell asleep after going swimming and I can only now guess it was a REALLY good nap!

We've been participating in Vacation Bible School all week. The theme was "Firefighters for Jesus". Katherine learned how to be on fire for Jesus and fire safety too. She knows how to dial 911, Stop,Drop and Roll and how to get out of a burning house. She also sings the Jesus Loves me theme with some amazing enthusiasm. Pretty cool stuff.

I think it must have stuck because here was her bedtime prayer.

Thank you God for all the world.
Thank you God for all my friends.
Help me to be a good friend.
Help me to be a fireman.
Help me to be gracious.
Thank you God for the whole Earth.
Amen.

I don't know about you....but I think that is pretty darn sweet.
