Fun with friends!

My good friend, Heather, from teacher certification classes came to see us on Monday with daughters, Jodi (15) and Janelle (8).

We started out by going to Granbury's town square. We went in and out of shops just browsing. As luck would have it, Janelle and Katherine hit it off immediately! They chatted, played, looked at toys, held hands the whole time we walked around. It was very sweet. Jodi held onto Emily the whole time. I had the stroller but Jodi wanted to carry her....cool, huh? Jodi was very good with all 3 girls....it was such a pleasure to have her around!

Heather and I were able to visit a lot because the girls got along so well and all were very well-behaved. The only part that we didn't enjoy was our lunch at Rinky-Tinks. The food was okay but the customer service was so awful that I actually apologized to Heather three times. Needless to say, we won't be able returning to Stinky-Stinks (that's my new name for it)

Once we got back to the house, Emily went down for a nap and the girls went swimming. Perfect end to a perfect day!

It was a wonderful visit and so much fun to visit with my dear friend!!
