Katherine graduated from Crosstown Preschool on Thursday night. Because Mom and Dad had an appointment in Fort Worth the next day, they had already planned to visit us that night. It worked out that they were able to attend! The sanctuary of Our Savior Lutheran (shout out to Owen and Wendy) is always packed so they ask us to limit guests. We were lucky to get 2 extra seats!
So on to the graduation. The started started by entering to the Graduation song. Then after a greeting from Ms. Mary, the director, the children put on their presentation.
They sang "Do Lord oh Do Lord" and "Holy, Holy, Holy". Then they said the 10 Commandments (more on that later) and ended with the Lord's Prayer. Each child recieved their diploma and then they excited to the Kindergarten Sound Off.
It was a sweet ceremony and I was very pleased that Crosstown kept "The Message" in mind. The preschool has focused on God's children learning His Word. Very Cool.
Afterwards, the children were served cake and punch. Then we took Katherine for celebatory ice cream (we had hamburgers since none of the adults had eaten.
Of course after all of that, Katherine didn't go to sleep until 10:30...can you say WIRED?!?!?!
I'm on going to attempt to post some videos.
