Lost Shaker of Salt....

We had a wonderful, date weekend!

On Friday, I headed to Ft. Worth after school for a girl's dinner. It was Jen Satterwhite's birthday. The night o'party began at Los Vaqueros. The other girls went out afterwards. I, however, did not. Instead, I went to Dallas to meet up with Frank and Kathy's house. The food and company was super! Here is a picture of us all except Lisa L., she was taking the photo.
At any rate, on Saturday morning, Kathy and I went to get pedicured and manicured. It was a VERY relaxing.

By 3:30, Aida and Brian showed up and we were all ready for our Jimmy Buffett experience!! The limo arrived at 4:30. By then, everyone was sufficiently into the margaritas....expect me. I was drinking them sans tequila.

The concert was totally awesome. Much of the fun is just people watching. We saw everything from family picnics to a guy in a grass skirt and coconut bras. He was so liquored up that is was no big deal to him that he wasn't wearing shoes. Jimmy Buffett gives a fantastic concert. He doesn't waste time with a bunch of talk. He just sings....it rocks. We sang about shaker's of salt and held up our fins with the best of them.

We were actually home before midnight and got to sleep late this morning. Frank met Dad in Hillsboro to get Katherine.

I headed home. I got a phone call on my way home from my friend Sheryl. Our other friends, Elisha and Ray, had to take their young son, Toby, to Cook's Children. After a scary morning of CT scans and a MRI, Toby is being treated for viral menagitas. I went by to visit them. Elisha and Ray amaze me. They were so calm and poised. Toby will be in the hosital for at least the next couple of days. Please keep the McDonald family in your prayers.

A 1/2 hourish later, I was home with Cowboy. Apparently, Frank and Cowboy were exhausted from the long weekend. Below, is what I found 20 minutes after we all settled in...
