but not in the creepy Jack Nicholson way.....
Jeff has fixed my laptop. No viruses! No sticky keyboard! No slow internet! YEA!!! More importantly....I can update the blog on a regular basis now.
OK, so whats been up lately? A lot, I suppose. But before I start that....
In reference to the last blog I posted. I was asked what "centers" are at Katherine's school. During play time, they have a kitchen set up, blocks and books. Each area is a "center" and that is what they say. "Time to go to centers". Maybe that post makes sense now?
The weekend before the last post, we took Katherine to the stock show. She loved it but a few hours in, she asked if we could go home. "I'm tired Mommy...." Who can say no to that?
So Valentine's weekend, Gina and I went to see "Confessions of a Shopoholic" We have both read the novel series and just love it! Anyway, I ate a vat of popcorn and drank a gallon of Coca Cola (I crave Coca Cola Classic, wierd, huh?). Afterwards, we went to Bealls to shop. har-di-ha...the irony! We found nothing for Gina, which is why we went, but did find 2 shirts and a pair of shoes for me! Woo Hoo! On Sunday, I had a solo in the choir anthem. I have to admit, it went very well.
This past week has been spent going to school and/or going to work and coming home. Very boring.
This weekend, though, we headed to Dallas for the weekend.. Katherine, Cowboy and I met Frank at Kathy's house. Kathy had dinner all ready for us. Yum! The next day we took a girl's trip to the shoe store and Wal-Mart. Katherine needed new shoes. After convincing her that she didn't need the $35 pink plastic princess shoes, we left with 1 pair of pink tennis shoes and 1 pair of rainbow/silver tennis shoes. After that we went to Wal-Mart. I love granimals....you know, clothes that match each other. Katherine was very well behaved. (accept for the small meltdown at the Wal-Mart McD's) A nice lunch at Hullahans topped our day off. Kathy and Katherine were left at the house while I went to get my nails done. AWESOME! Frank got to watch the golf tournament. Good day for all!
This morning, we hung out doing nothing much. Kathy and I took a trip to Tom Thumb and 1/2 price books after which I headed to Granbury. Frank and Katherine had already headed home.
Great weekend!
And I promise, I'll do better on the blog.
