Have you ever seen the 1977 movie "Ants"? Well, we have the same version of this movie going on in our backyard. Thousands and thousands of catepillars have taken over a tree in our backyard.
OK, so maybe not thousands. But there are a freakin' lot of them. It's creepy. Like really creepy...super creepy. They are crawling up and down one of our trees, on our roof, our porch... They have "silked" all of the leaves. Katherine keeps walking around the backyard saying, "Buck...Uuuck" ("Bug, Yuck") Did I mention it's creepy?
Seriously though, it's weird.
So, I decided to google some solutions up. Not alot was happening....
I finally got smart and called Spencer. Spencer is Deborah's boyfriend. Deborah is one of the girls of my girls trips. Anyway, I digress. Spencer is a hortoculturalist. He gave us some good advice. ...buy some pesticide....
He actually delivered the advice with some additional supportive words.
At any rate, we are going to take these nasty little creatures down...
I'll keep you updated. You may not care. I may be only one who cares about it but I'm still going to keep you updated.
