Today, Verizon Wireless called me to say that my cell phone had been recovered! Yea! Apparently, the genius who stole it (or the genius who bought it for $10) tried to get my phone activated at a Verizon store.
Now, I'm no Menza candidate....but I know how to report my own phone as stolen. And Verizon....well, they know how to tag a phone as stolen.
UM....McFly??? Cell Phones are TRACEABLE!
Anyway, Verizon confiscated the phone and they are mailing it to me.
I'll have it in 2 - 3 business days. Yea!
By the way, when I told the head dude at the high school that one of his students took my phone, his answer was, "Lesson learned, don't leave things on your table." That's a pretty complacent answer if you ask me. He didn't even apologize for his student's behavior.
Guess Karma is a tough ol' gal......
