This weekend~thus far

I had yesterday off! (Woo Hoo!) I took Katherine to a well baby check up. She is well. :) Then we headed up to the University so I could show her off to all of my coworkers. Katherine, of course, was a perfect angel. She was held by everybody and their brother. Not one tear, wimper or whine. That was a pretty big day for her.

Today, Aunt Sue and I took Katherine for some MAJOR shopping at NorthPark Mall. We had a good time. Katherine was an angel again. We walked all over that mall! It was really fun.

At one point, I decided to feed Katherine her lunch. I was sitting in the dressing room across of Aunt Sue while she tried on some clothes. I felt like it was the perfect scenario! Then some lady got real indignant that I had the nerve to take up an extra room. Normally, I would make the effort to move so as not to appear rude. But you know what? I totally didn't care! My daughter was happy and in the middle of eating lunch. I figured that Foley's was big enough that she could find another room It wasn't my fault the that one of the dressing rooms was locked up because some other kid peed in it. Anyway, off my soapbox.

After 4 hours of shopping, we walked out of NorthPark Mall with just one shirt and some men's dress socks. We decided the hunt must be better than the find. We tried on a ton of clothes but came up with not much. I guess this is good news for the husbands.

Katherine is now a pro at the baby food. Her list so far includes pears, applesauce, bananas (which really stink), peaches, sweet potatoes and carrots. She hates carrots....really, really hates them. I hate carrots too so it's no big deal to me!

Tomorrow we are going to church and then Frank is going to a ball game with his friend Brian. Katherine and I will be hanging out together~just the two of us. There is a song there but I won't torture everyone with that.
