Well, I did what I said I wouldn't do....I had to let her cry it out last Wednesday night. It isn't that I was against her crying it out. (it was hard, don't get me wrong) I just thought that I had her bedtime and naptime down so well that she didn't need that awful parent tradition. But I failed miserably. Apparently, I am 28 years old and I let a 4 1/2 month old manipulate me. Everytime she would cry, TBG and I would go in there to pat her on the back and comfort her. So she figured out that we would do that for her but she didn't do it for her sitter. Crazy to me that a 4 1/2 month old can figure that out.
Each night we set the timer for 20 minutes so we know how long we have to wait. The first night, Wednesday, wasn't too bad because we had the Rose Bowl to watch. (Hook Em!)
She cried 18 minutes. Thursday night was a bit more difficult. She cried the full 20 minutes. I went back in there and put her on her side and covered her back up. She was OUT after that. Yea! Friday and Saturday night were super easy because we had a babysitter. Our babysitter is our sitter's son and he knows Little Miss. Tonight she only cried for 10 minutes or was asleep. She took pretty good naps too. Yea Us!!!
