Tonight was Meet the Teacher night for Katherine. Her teacher is Mrs. McWilliams and Katherine already adores her!
Katherine wasn't very sure about going into the room at first. All the way down the hall, she pointed out the door to the bus, the bathroom and her speech classroom.
When we arrived at her Kindergarten classroom though, she balked. She attached herself to Mimi's leg and said, "I'm scared!" So I took her hand and walked in to the room. Katherine looked up at me and said, "Are you sure about this?" I reassured her and we found her chair. After a silly "let me guess your name" conversation with Mrs. McWilliams, Katherine was fine.
Katherine also found out that her friend from preschool, Reagan, is in the class. The 2 girls went off and played and I sat down to fill out a mountain of paperwork. I soon had to run off for my Meet the Teacher night and Papa, Mimi, Emily and Frank stayed with Katherine.

How exciting! Make sure you take a picture at the end of the year with the teacher sitting in the same chair with Katherine standing next to her. Kindergartners grow so much!
