Well, now I know why I've been so tired....sinus infection, severe stomach bug and enough dehydration that my doctor hooked me up to an IV for fluids.
I tried so hard to go to school every day. I made it until Friday afternoon. My knees kept buckling .... I'm guessing from the dehydration. Friday was Johnny Appleseed Day, we were having a apple taste testing, reading about Johnny Appleseed (who was a real person named John Chapman), and even wearing a pot on our head just like Johnny! I was so excited about it and so disappointed for the kids that I didn't get to finish the day out.
My mom came and got Katherine and Emily because I was so sick. They are all having a nice weekend in Mexia. Mom was on her way for the baptism and just had to turn around after getting both girls. Frank has been very sweet and taken good care of me.
Needless to say, the baptism is canceled for now. We called all of our family and friends to let them know.
So basically....the only silver lining is that it can only get better from here.
