Show and Tell.

So today was another big day. Because we have Megan's shower in Dallas on Saturday, I decided it best to come to Kathy's house on Friday. This way, we could have show and tell with the girls in 2 locations.


My target goal was to leave the house at 10:00 a..m. We left at 10:30. This was my first experience driving Katherine, Emily and Cowboy to Dallas all by myself. Our drive was uneventful except for the few time that I freaked out on the highway.


We started by stopping at Subway to pick up lunch. We had a very nice lunch at Kathy's house with Ms. Betty. Betty had not seen Emily at all and Katherine for a long time. A nice time was had by all.


Then the girls and I set out for Kathy's office. I held Emily for about 60 seconds total and saw Katherine for less than that. All the ladies at Kathy's office were wanting to hold Emily. And Katherine has a new best friend. Her name is Patsy. Patsy and Katherine typed up a letter together, sent a fax and convinced me to let Katherine have a peppermint. Katherine actually told me she was "hungry for zert". I asked what she meant and Patsy told me that Katherine had eyed the peppermint candy....something I can live with!

We were gone by 3 and a fun time was had by all!
