My goal was to take the girls to lunch and then go to the Bisque House on the Square. The Bisque House is a neat little pottery place where you can create your own picture frames, mugs, plates, knick knack paddy wacks, ect. We had a free coupon for a newborn footprint tile.
First, we headed out to Montana's. Everything went perfect, except that Emily's bottle spilled all over her diaper bag. I had my wallet in there so that was fun.
Normally, a bottle spill wouldn't be a big deal. You know...get a napkin and clean it up and move on, which I did. But you, my faithful readers, know that the smallest thing in our lives can always turn into something major.
Anyway....We headed over to the Bisque House. All is going super. Katherine picked a little ceramic dog to paint as something special for Daddy.
She's painting, I'm painting....we're happy...then Emily starts getting fussy. Hungry....um....no bottle. OK, let's just paint her foot and move on. My studio associate is patiently helping us get done. Once Katherine is done painting her dog, she decided to read a book in the children's area. OK, good.
Emily is still crying and the other painters are getting sort of testy. I ignore them, it's not like I'm pinching her. We are almost done and Emily is calming down. And then.......Katherine starts crying. What the heck? I turn around and she has a nosebleed. Well ok.
Long story short.....we got the heck out of dodge.......
