Cookies!

Katherine and I made pumpkin cookies today! I have to confess though....there was a reasoning behind this and the bucket yesterday.

See, Katherine was having a hard time listening at preschool. So the bucket was a reward for a "good" note day and the cookies were a reward for another "good" note day. I think we are on the right track now and can stop with the rewards. I hope.

I almost forgot to write about this!

On Friday, we were on our way to Dallas for Uncle Mike's party. Matt and Katherine were in the back seat and I was the chauffeur up front. Anyway, Matt had a coughing fit.

This was the conversation that happened.

Matt: cough.cough.cough
Katherine: Okay? need a doctor?
Matt: No, I am okay
Katherine: Okay?
Matt: I'm okay. I'm just coughin'
Katherine: (laughs) You not coughin', you Matt!

Yesterday was the big day!

We started out in Dallas. Frank and Matt headed out to meet our movers at 8:45 a.m in Fort Worth. They loaded up our storage unit. After that, the movers went to Kathy's house and got all of our stuff from her home. In the meantime, I was in Granbury meeting our Mobile Attic guy. By 1:00 p.m., everyone was in Granbury moving our stuff into the house. With Matt and Frank's help, by 2:45, it was finished! They are good... these guys.

Frank and I got to sleep in our own bed last night. I forgot how much I love my bed.

At any rate, now I have unpack. sigh.
