Great weekend!

Last night, Frank and I were able to go out and celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day. Grandma Kathy kept Katherine for the evening. Here we are before we left. We ate at Texas de Brazil....oh so good!

Today, after we celebrated with breakfast and presents, Katherine wanted to play outside on the swing set and then out by the pool!

Strawberry Fields

Mimi and I took Katherine to pick strawberries today! We had so much fun!!! We picked 8 pounds of strawberries. We ate almost as much. :) Katherine's hands were stained red on the way home.

Today, my parents picked Katherine up from daycare and took her to Mexia. They were up to drop off Dad's boat for repair so it made perfect sense for them to get her. Since I am going to Mexia too this weekend, it will make my drive from Granbury to Mexia that much easier. (especially because I have no A/C in my explorer at this moment.

Mom wrote me an email today to chronical Katherine's afternoon. Here it is!

"Well little miss went to bed without a problem. She is "reading " her book in her bed. We read 3 or 4 books but she was ready to call it a night. We had played hard since the moment we got here. We had bought her a small plastic wagon to play with in the yard and it has a shovel and a pail along with it. She dug around in the dirt and picked up gravel from the driveway and just had a big time. She pulled it all over the
front and the backyard. Really cute."
